You will be exposed to management concepts, knowledge and skills which have practical application in the workplace.

The MSc in Business Management is a recognised postgraduate qualification that is valued by employers in both the public and private sectors. You will be taught in Heilbronn at German Graduate School of Management and Law by highly qualified teaching staff with research expertise and consultancy experience in management studies from Leeds University Business School. This will be complemented by support for your personal development through co-operative and participatory approaches to learning, as well as opportunities to share your ideas and experiences with students from a range of backgrounds. The professional skills development sessions will develop your personal and interpersonal skills relevant to management, and will provide support for career planning.

Target audience

The career and personal development element of the programme takes as a starting point that career preferences, skill levels and preparedness for new roles and jobs evolve all the time. This means that a concern with career development is as important for a student committed long term to their present employer, as it is to those wishing to either change employer or career path. The MSc Business Management programme provides an opportunity to systematically reflect upon preferences, skills and career choices. Assistance face to face, and online, will provide students with the chance to review their career preferences and choices and to take steps to plan for the future, and acquire the skills and attributes necessary for personal development.

Study in Heilbronn

Heilbronn is a combination of Swabian assiduity and Franconian savoir vivre with cosmopolitan, liberal and tolerant people who are conscious of tradition but also open-minded towards the future. And that future is you as our new neighbour, business partner or artist for example.

Heilbronn is embedded in countryside and united with nature, culture and history: the Heilbronn country. It is captivated within hills and valleys, extensive vineyards as well as historical locations with picturesque views and architecture.

Heilbronn itself is a city on the river. The Neckar River is the lifeline of the city and has shaped the people over time. "Live and let live" is our motto. As early as the Middle Ages, trade and prosperity developed here in the free imperial city. Later, Heilbronn lead the way in the industrial revolution in Germany. Today, this city at the geographical centre of Europe is a sought-after location for innovative enterprises.

All in all, Heilbronn is always in action and offers endless possibilities for you to experience your own serendipities.
