Master Programme MSc in Project Management

Aberdeen Business School is recognised by The Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Global Registered Education Provider and the Project Management course caters for all project management disciplines including information technology, public sector, business, built environment, engineering, knowledge, health and energy.

It is also highly relevant to the new emerging market of project management in professional services like Human Resources and Finance which is largely being driven by government modernisation and large scale outsourcing.

The course will develop critical thinking in international and industry specific project management practice and management competences in project management.

Learners on the programme will gain the following specific aims:

Entry Requirements:
  • A degree/honours degree or degree equivalent, or
  • Qualifications of an approved Professional Body or Institution, or
  • Relevant industrial, commercial or professional experience at a level sufficient to justify exemptions from the normal requirements.
  • If you do not meet the requirements and are a non-graduate with experience in business/management insufficient to justify exemption, you may wish to consider access to the course via the Access Foundation in Management Studies.
  • Candidates for whom English is not their main language must be able to demonstrate a suitable level in written and spoken English. This is normally demonstrated by providing a certificate form IELTS (minimum score of 6.5 required) or TOEFL (minimum score of 570 required).
