Master Programme MBA in International ManagementThe program combines profound theoretical and practical knowledge with interpersonal skills, motivation and initiative, reflective and responsible thinking, as well as leadership skills, all of which are needed to be successful in today's global business environment. In an international and cross-cultural setting, our students are exposured to different cultures and business attitudes, which is essential for an effective internationally-oriented career. The language of instruction is English.
The Pforzheim MBA follows a two-tier strategy which will provide our students a distinguished competitive advantage for the business of tomorrow: a consequently international, generalist and profound classical management education is combined with the teaching of specific skills in the future topics of innovation management, sustainability and globalization.
The programme integrates a semester of foreign study at a MBA partner university in USA, Europe and Asia.
Students round out their studies by writing a Masters Thesis in their final semester in co-operation with a company in Germany or abroad.

The MBA in International Management (MBA IM) prepares future managers for professional careers in the international business world as executives and entrepreneurs.

Practical relevanceCompany projects and seminars in small student teams as well as the final thesis in co-operation with a company guarantee a high level of practical experience.
Additionally part-time lecturers from industry address current topics and add real-world perspective in real-time. Companies such as Accenture, DaimlerChrysler, Ernst & Young, Infosys and PricewaterhouseCoopers are continuously sending representatives for teaching within this MBA.

Please note that applicants from Germany, Switzerland and Austria need to have a first degree GPA of 2.5 or above. GMAT is not a mandatory requirement for applicants from these three countries.

|The MBA international student exchange provides excellent opportunities to stay up to one year at one of the partner universities in Europe, USA or Asia and gain additional international experience.
Participants with an undergraduate degree of a German University spend an obligatory semester at a partner university abroad.
For international students the study abroad term is voluntary.

Three semesters at Pforzheim University and one semester at one of our partner universities in the U.S., Latin America, Asia and Europe. You choose, where you want to go. For students with a first degree from a German institution,it is compulsory to study the third semester abroad. For all other students, it is optional.

The Pforzheim University Business School Jean Monnet Chair is integral part of our MBA with lectures such as "European Economics & Political Relations" and "Doing Business in Europe". Pforzheim University is the only business school with a Jean Monnet Chair for European Economic Integration in our federal state. Jean Monnet Chairs are teaching posts with a specialization in European integration studies which receive additional funding by the European Union. As part of the electives our students may focus on European political and business issues in their 3rd semester.
